Cookie Policy

Learn how Wexio uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience and provide our services.

Last updated: March 31, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Wexio LLC ("Wexio", "We", "Us", or "Our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (collectively, "Trackers") when you visit or interact with our platform at wexio.io.

This document informs Users about the technologies that help Wexio to achieve the purposes described below. Such technologies allow Wexio to access and store information (for example by using a Cookie) or use resources (for example by running a script) on a User's device as they interact with the platform. For simplicity, all such technologies are defined as "Trackers" within this document.

Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may require your consent. Where consent has been given, it can be freely withdrawn at any time following the instructions provided in this document.

This document can be printed for reference by using the print command in the settings of any browser.

What Are Cookies & Trackers?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the website. A Tracker can also mean any other technology - including scripts, pixels, and local storage - that serves an equivalent purpose.

Cookies may be either "first-party cookies" (set directly by Wexio on your device) or "third-party cookies" (set by a domain other than wexio.io). Cookies can also be classified by their duration: "session cookies" are automatically deleted when you close your browser, while "persistent cookies" remain on your device for a defined period of time or until you delete them manually.

How We Use Trackers

We use Trackers for the following purposes. Each purpose has a specific legal basis which is described in the Legal Basis section below.

  • Authentication: To identify you after you have signed in, maintain your session, and recognise you when you return to the platform.
  • Preferences: To remember your preferred language, theme (light/dark mode), organisation context, and other personalisation settings.
  • Security: To protect your account against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks, detect suspicious activity, and enforce rate limiting.
  • Analytics: To collect anonymised data about how visitors interact with our website, which pages are visited most frequently, and how performance can be improved.
  • Functionality: To enable interactive features such as live chat widgets, form pre-population, and navigation state persistence.

Types of Trackers We Use

The Trackers used on our platform are categorised as follows. Essential Trackers are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled. All other categories are optional and require your consent.

Essential (Strictly Necessary) Trackers

Required

These Trackers are strictly necessary for the provision of the service you have explicitly requested. They enable core functionality including authentication, security, session management, and load balancing. Without these Trackers, the platform cannot function. You cannot opt out of essential Trackers.

auth_token - Encrypted authentication session token used to verify your identity and maintain your signed-in state across requests (persistent, first-party)

Functional Trackers

Consent Required

These Trackers enable enhanced functionality and personalisation. They are set directly by Wexio on your device. If you do not allow these Trackers, some or all of these features may not function correctly.

NEXT_LOCALE - Your preferred language/locale setting for content localisation (persistent, first-party)
organisationSlug - Current organisation context identifier, used to route you to the correct workspace (persistent, first-party)
userInfo - Cached user profile data including your display name, email, and avatar URL for UI rendering purposes (persistent, first-party)
preferences - UI personalisation settings including sidebar collapsed/expanded states, AI assistant bar visibility, and search mode preferences (persistent, first-party)

Analytics Trackers

Consent Required

These Trackers collect anonymised information about how visitors use our platform. This data helps us understand usage patterns, identify issues, and improve the user experience. All analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.

_ga, _ga_* - Google Analytics 4 cookies for traffic analysis and user behaviour (persistent, 2 years, third-party: Google LLC)
va - Vercel Analytics cookie for performance monitoring and Core Web Vitals measurement (session, third-party: Vercel Inc.)

Marketing Trackers

Consent Required

These Trackers may be set by our advertising and measurement partners to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements on other websites. If you disable marketing Trackers, you will still see advertisements, but they may be less relevant to you.

_fbp - Meta Pixel browser identifier for conversion tracking and audience building (persistent, 90 days, third-party: Meta Platforms, Inc.)
_gcl_au - Google Ads conversion linker for attributing conversions to ad campaigns (persistent, 90 days, third-party: Google LLC)
